At the 7th Cittaslow Taiwan Annual Meeting, Fanlu Township, Chiayi County was officially approved by the General Assembly of members as the 13th member township of the Cittaslow Taiwan Alliance, joining the Cittaslow community in Taiwan.
Fanlu Township is blessed with rich natural landscapes, local culture and traditions, and diverse local industries. Moving forward, Fanlu will work together with other member townships to exchange experiences and explore ways to put Cittaslow principles into practice through local living, cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and local revitalization. Together, we hope to make “slow” more than just a pace of life, but an important force that connects the land, communities, and residents.
Today(2026/9/16), the Mayor of Sanyi Township and Chairman of the Cittaslow Taiwan Alliance led a delegation to Fanlu Township, Chiayi County. The Mayor of Majia Township, Pingtung County, and the Nanhua University team also joined the visit to exchange experiences and share Cittaslow practices with Fanlu, witnessing this important moment together.
