2025 Luye “Hua Lu Mi” Wellness & Cittaslow Festival
Coinciding with the July-August Hot Air Balloon Carnival, this event centers on local ingredients combined with the unique landscapes and culture of Luye. The slogan “Hua Lu Mi” plays on multiple meanings: Luye is known as the hometown of Formosan sika deer (“hua lu” meaning “flower deer”), while “mi” represents both tea and rice—two of the township’s major agricultural specialties. Additionally, the English phrase “follow me” is incorporated to invite visitors to experience the Cittaslow lifestyle through the eyes of the locals.

Participants & Registration: Pre-registration is required. Each event costs NT$299 per person (special discounted price), and registration is only available online. Each session opens for 15–30 participants; events with fewer than 15 participants will be canceled. Limited spots available—please book early!
